Greetings
Welcome to Karate for Christ International, the world's largest Christian martial arts Organization. My name is Daryl Covington, President of KFCI. We pray that you will find Karate for Christ International a help to your ministry, as well as an opportunity for you to be involved in the arts, and ministry, world wide.
Dr. Covington has been a pastor since 1995, and is now serving the Lord as a missionary to Asia. He is a 7th Degree Black belt in Shinse Hapkido, trained by Joseph Lumpkin, a 4th Degree Black belt in Pa Sa Ryu, trained by Kang Rhee, and a Level 1 Certified Dim Mak Instructor, trained by Erle Montiague. His academic studies include a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Auburn University, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministries from Trinity, a Doctor of Ministry, and P.hD. in Asian Studies. Dr. Covington, his wife Brenda, and their two daughters, Mikayla and Miriah currently live in Seoul, South Korea, as missionaries with Asia Reach Ministries. The entire family are all martial artists.
